Tutoring
With a background in childhood development and adolescent education, I have had the opportunity to work with students aged 5-21 in classrooms and 1:1 settings. My particular strengths include executive function support, language and literacy support, integration of technology and the intersections of all three. I work with students with general concerns in reading and writing, students with diagnosed learning disabilities, and students with diagnosed ADHD or concerns around the same.
I take a relational approach in all of my work. I believe that students learn more and are more open to interventions when they feel comfortable and confident with their service providers, and I aim to build these kinds of relationships with my clients. Using benchmark assessment data and any neuropsychological testing, my work is to unlock the complexities of how your child is making sense of their world, and in collaboration with them use those skills to build structures and approaches that might help them in areas where they struggle.
